hid the changelog in a very safe location
updated home page dark mode color palette (temporary)
added ??? folder to the home page as project placeholder
added another window to the home page but then immediatley deleted it again
according to my fitbit I usually clock 1000 steps worth of pacing before 6am. that seems normal.
toggle button now says "dark mode" to make it clear what it does

changed the design of the changelog, not that anyone is ever going to find it... B3c
toggle button now says "dark theme" because I realized "dark mode" does mean a specific accessibility thing
tweaked home page to actually fit on small laptop screens
unfortunately the above made the home page totally unreadable on mobile...
came up with a really good pun for the About page heh heh
linked my About page to readme.txt

made placeholder pages so at least the links are working
developed actual light & dark palettes for the home page, still trying to conceptualize my redesign before springing the changes

and then I spent the rest of my day struggling to get rid of a 2px gap between an image and a table border on my digital shelf page, so. humbling.

finally got my digital shelf up and working!! i'm sure it breaks at certain resolutions but hey
added three books to the shelf to start out
had a hard day yesterday because i'm changing jobs so uh, taking it easy and coding a lot today
my sketchbook page is up and mostly works, will make it pretty later
got the start of my playlists page going, again mostly just placeholders
added a cuter gradient background to the light version of the homepage
rearranged the home page windows, testing out a button box
removed the pixelized image rendering from home page because it doesn't do what I thought it did and now the desktop icons look way better even at the wrong size, thank god
made the window drop shadows transpaaareeeeeent!! oAo

yo, I found the coolest sweatshirt at the thrift store today
I'm talking white to pink ombre with a Beauty and the Beast quote on it
I don't normally go in for Disney merch but we talkin' prologue shit
bought it immediately, one of my favorite sequences from any movie ever
also I was playing Lies of P and finally got to meet Romeo. immediate crush. today was a good day.
ANYWAY, successfully got folder icons to change between light and dark mode

turned textarea field from a span tag to a CSS style and got it to also change colors in light vs dark mode
changed text on start and theme buttons on dark mode home page to a readable font color
fiddling with colors and text in the start menu site map on both light and dark theme
mostly finalized (I think) the colors in dark theme

got partway through the untitled vampire story layout, published it half-finished oh well
got one of my home page desktop icons to swap over with the dark theme... hehehehe... AN EVIL RECYCLING BIN......

fun fact I have an irrational fear of falling into an oven
slight tweaks to untitled vampire story layout, still unfinished
replaced home page floppy disk desktop icon with light and dark versions
made a SH2 game case for my digital shelf but oops it's WAY too small and it deserves better

uh still adjusting to the new job so uh yeah uh updates will slow down!! not that I'm on a timeline or anything because it's not like anybody will ever discover this in this very very very good hiding spot...
